I spent this past weekend in Asheville celebrating two of my best friend’s birthdays. Julia’s was the 18th, and Jake’s was the 22nd. Cori and Sara also had birthdays within the last couple of days too, so there was a huge party for all of them on Friday night. There was so many faces - new and old! A good selection of people came up from home, and I got to see friendly faces from Asheville too. I love everyone. I had such a great time that night. I think we were there from around 9-3:30 or something? Christian, Alex, Williams, Paige, andmaybesomeoneelse crashed at Julia’s. She had to leave around 8 the next morning though, so I didn’t get to see her for the rest of the weekend.
Saturday was such a lazy day. We took Paige on her first Cookout experience - and it was approved. How could it not be, really? We were all going to see Langhorne Slim on Saturday night, but it sold out when we got there. Bummer, but at least I’ve seen him quite a few times in the past. So, instead, we ordered pizza and sat around Cori and Caitlyn’s apartment to bring in Jake’s official birthday.
The last big group picture was taken at midnight for Jake’s 20th. A ton of people are missing from it though. Extreme laziness was Sunday, because we all slept until 1:00 or so. Bojangles, and sitting around Jake’s dorm until we finally left around 4:00. Good stuff.
